Reading Eggs lessons begin with a focused step-by-step demonstration of a core reading skill. Students apply each skill to a range of guided practice activities.

How does a lesson work?
- Lessons begin with interactive videos that explicitly teach a progressive sequence of phonics skills.
- Interactive activities reinforce phonemic awareness and phonics, letter-sound correspondence, blending and segmenting, letter identification, high frequency words, vocabulary, sentence construction and comprehension.
- Finishes with a real book where students put their new reading skills into action.
